Introducing the Quadrille dress. This piece was inspired by a 1940s dress I sold a few years ago that made me so happy when I wore it. I sought to emulate that happiness by using a whimsical fabric and creating a cut that was somewhat similar (both had ruffle collars and princess seams).
this current piece is for sale as a one off dress.  It is a size small. The fabric is a quality thick cotton linen twill that is a hand print from 1973. I acquired the fabric from an antiques dealer I bought a lot of dresses from in East Tennessee. She has such good eye.  I have not been able to find it since. It’s truly one of a kind. Â
the bodice is lined. Madison, the model, is 6’1” so it’s pretty much full length on anyone else.  It can be taken in if desired if you want it a bit shorter. Just message me.Â
this piece is also MADE TO ORDER. I have some really cool fabric I’ve acquired, so if you are interested, I can make this pattern to your size with the fabric I have on hand. Just message me and I can send you pictures of the fabric.Â
orders take around 2-3 weeks to process.Â
I hope you enjoy this dress as much as I have. Much love, ambarÂ
